Ok so tested my TPS. I cooked it, wont adjust at all. I'm looking at a new TPS on rockauto. There's two options the $31 or the $41 dollar one. it seems like the more expensive one is pre set? I thought that wasn't possible for a renix? anyone have some input?

Read some reviews and bought the cheaper one, $44 to my door in two days.

just got a RC 3" full leaf spring lift for the jeep. since the install a grinding noise has been coming from what i think is the center of the jeep below the shifter. im thinking its the transfer case because i know somtimes a xfer drop is needed after a 3" lift or more but im not sure what that really means. i dont know much about xfer cases. the sound only happens when im coasting with my foot off the gas and brake. any clue what it could be?

We installed a 3 core radiator in an 89 cherokee, intending to wire the electric fan for a manual switch. Since the new radiator has no place for the fan sensor, we thought we could cut the wires to the sensor and connect the switch to them. If feasible, is a 30 amp switch adequate? Help me out here! Thanks

Stock 88 XJ 4.0l 4x4 Automatic and NP231 Tcase.
Which front U joints do I need to get for the Axle shafts?
Which are the best or most reliable. (links?)
I've got to do them soon the Poppins driving me crazy while turning in reverse at slow speeds.

Putting the trans pan from my 95 parts XJ to my 91.
Anyone got a trick for getting the dipstick tube on the trans pan seperated?
If it gives me crap today, if I even get to it, I'm cutting that SOB. I'm just worried that I might not be able to get it out even after I cut it.
Would putting anti-sieze on it when I put it all back together be a bad thing? As long as it won't get in the ATF?

Remove the bolt that holes the tube in place and lower the pan to the ground. Fish the tube out. It'll come out in one piece.
Worst case you might need to get the Jeep up off the ground.
