Ohhh... A cap out of vynil or rubber would be pretty slick. Slap some OX-GARD or NOALOX on the pins and that'll keep the corrosion away.

I ran a direct wire (hot and ground) to my fuel pump and it just thumps in the tank 1 time. As a second opinion to mine would you say its safe to say the fuel pump is junk?

Bash the tank with a large rubber hammer a few times with the key on.

What's the diameter of the fuel line leading out of the gas tank on a 1996 jeep Cherokee?

Thanks! Another question for you guys. My dad has 1999 jeep wrangler and his tie rod is pretty bent. He has DW and I say it's supposed to be straight. He thinks it is normal. Can anyone tell me if the tie rod is supposed to be straight or bent? Mines straight..

Default Under Pressure

Hello, I have a couple of questions. I just got an '89 Cherokee with a 4.0 and an aw-4 Automatic. First how much peak pressure is on the trans coolers lines? And how much peak pressure is on the Low pressure side of the power steering system?

Under the hood of my 4.0 XJ it feels really "windy" when the engine is running - is this normal due to all the moving stuff, or does it mean something is letting out air that shouldn't??

It's completely normal. The air your feeling is the mechanical fan doing its job to keep the motor cool.

Perfectly normal.
