Can you get codes pulled for a check engine light on a 90's vehicle

I was under the Impression the higher number the less they stick out of the wheel well. So you worried 5 won't be offset enough then right? I always run 3.75

What's the best engine to use for a stroker?

I have a 89 all parts
And I had a 93 no intake
I will be building a 4.7 and it's going into a 88
also i want to use a 2000 intake will this be a problem ?

Pretty much everything was optional on these things. Only thing outstanding is that 2001 models were all 4.0L in the US. No 4cyl that year.

No I think it is to much I don't want it to rub on the inside when I turn? I'm new to this and I really don't know what to get
