My truck is home. My friend tried to tow me home with his 22r yota and we made it maybe 300 ft before he said he cant do it. He called his dad and he told us to hold the gas all the way to the floor and try to crank it. We did and it fired up. My guesstimate is that it blew a spark plug wire and it left me stranded, after trying to start it 150 times it flooded, so after changing the wires (which I think was the problem) it wouldn't crank because of flooding. But I'm home now and it cranks on it own!

I've heard mixed reviews but never any facts backing them. Some people swear by changing the fluid and some say not not to ever change it beacause the new fluid will make the trans slip. I know even if I drop the pan and drain what fluid Is in the pan its not a complete flush bc fluid Is trapped in other places. Which is want you want right?

I just don't want to have trans issues after I change some of the fluid. So you guys say change the fluid and not to worry about it.. Correct?

Have any of you changed yours with no issues?

New fluid will make it slip? LOL
So when you hit 320k miles and you're running pudding in your trans Leme know if it slips.
Yes, change your fluid
