I now have a new issue with my 2000 jeep cherokee classic. I notice that when it is hot out and I have been driving around for awhile it runs fine but when I shut it off to run into the store or etc and come back to start it up it shakes horribly and idles extremely low, but when I rev up and give it some gas its fine. I just relplaced the coil pack, spark plugs and oil. The temp gauge does not go above its normal placement. So what gives?
There was a recall about this. May want to check into that and see if your jeep was done.. If not take it in.. It's free!

I am thinking about rhino lining my front and back fenders and pulling the bottom molding off my 95 Cherokee xj and rhino lining that too. Do I need to buy the good stuff like line x or can I use the cheaper stuff in a spray can? For you guys who have done this before if you could give me some pointers I would appreciate it.

Use die electric grease and anti seize you'll be glad you did...and yes do not over tighten them. Just go until snug
Ok.. Replaced cap with 190d from AZ.. The one with the red lift latch cause the regular one wouldnt work. Changed stat this morning. Put in a butt load of anti freeze and ran it for a little. AF started turning a shade of brown. I changed my water pump this weekend.. Could it be that the new WP is loosening whatever rust or build up is in the engine? Should I just get it flushed?

I used the duplicolor in a spray can. It's messy as hell but it worked good.
I roughed up the area, wiped it down with cleaner, taped it off and sprayed it on.
Tape off MUCH more than you think you need to. Cover your wheels and tires. Cover the majority of the side of the Jeep. The stuff gets everywhere.
Also, I pulled the tape off while the paint was still wet. The stuff is so thick that it won't make a clean line when you pull the tape off after it dries.
If you do let it dry before you pull the tape off the easiest thing to so is follow the edge of the tape with a razor blade before you try to peal it off. If not the tape tears or the the paint flakes up.
Also, be prepared for at least 20 people a day to tell you that you should paint the doors to match.

Sanding disc on a grinder
just bought a Cherokee 4.0 Inline 6. Ive done a complete tune up from the rotor and dist cap to the plugs and wires. Also changed all filters and oil. Ive cleaned out the throttle body and the IAC module. It still idles rough when it gets hot and about the same time it starts to idle rough i smell gas fumes. Any suggestions on were to start? Also did the key on key off to find codes (check eng light on) and came up with 42 code and 51 code. Need help on were to start to get them fixed.
