Hey guys, I have a question about the dual diaphragm brake booster upgrade.
I have an '88 XJ with stock brakes and stock pedal light switch. I know mine senses the pressure with the bolt that runs through the pedal to the rod on the booster.
Question is, could I just grab a dual booster, prop valve, MC and the brake pedal with switch from a '96 XJ and be good to go? I don't really want to fiddle around too much and be out of a Jeep for 3-4 days. Any help is greatly appreciated!
PS: This is what I was meaning... http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticl.../photo_03.html

so according to the guy i bought my cherokee off of, he had replaced both O2 sensors in the exhaust. The CHECK ENGINE light is illuminated on the dash, and it comes up with 2 codes that mean both of the O2 sensors are bad. I tested the sensor before the cat with a voltmeter, and it did fluctuate between millivolts (.02-.08-.02 ETC.), i thought it would be more like 0.1-1.0 if they are working right. could the wire that leads up to the ECM be faulty?? I am also experiencing a little misfiring at low RPMs. Anybody ever have this issue??
