A little motion from the pinion is normal. Your U-joint should have ZERO play in it. Time to replace!

Hello all, I have been reading up lately on gears and I am still not quite sure about it. My question is I will be going to 30x9.5r15 or maybe 31x10.5r15 if the price is right, I have an 8.25 3.55 gears sitting in my garage ready to be cleaned up and replace my current howling 8.25 which according to the tag has 3.07 gears, will this be a good setup? I don't plan on lifting any more than it already is(2wd), I definitely feel like I have to push it in 5th to get up extended hills with my current 235x75r15 tires. It never goes past say 2200rpm in 5th flooring it.

I'm trying to locate a hose on top part of my radiator that I am pretty sure is leaking. I can't find a diagram to find out what that hose is called so i can find a replacement hose to install? Any help would be great?

Planning on rebuilding my engine, What would be some recommended things to replace besides all gaskets(anyone know a good kit?)? Not stroking it, I just want it to last as long as possible.
