It's good.

It would only be bad if it happened to MY Jeep.

There are two lights in the front marker that both are lit when the driving lights are on but sometimes one isn't when the blinker is. The socket might not be tight enough around the bulb, that's what happened to me

Vacuum is measured in inches, boost in pounds.

I got the spray stuff and the roll on stuff. The roll on stuff is absolutely garbage. It goes on like tar and real messy. The spray stuff goes on real nice so I hope it holds up nicely.
I liked the Duplicolor better. Seemed to be thicker with more of the chunky stuff in it. The Rustoleum seemed to run more than the Duplicolor also.

So over past couple weeks my xj was sitting with both pasenger tires flat, went out this morning to take them off to get new some new ones mounted and noticed the rear tire is wet w gear oil.

Does it sound like aseal leak or no because it was sitting on an angle for couple weeks cuts of the flat tires

Default Possible Transmission Issue...

Good morning! So I have a bit of a frustrating issue, that I thought I had resolved. I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 V6 It is seemingly jumping into neutral then back into gear when I am driving. Let me give a little bit of history:

A few months back I had the computer replaced because it was idling very poorly and out of no where started jumping into neutral then back into gear while driving, or at least that's what I believe it was doing, and it was very frequently like every couple seconds. I've had a lot of electrical issues in the past (Due to a rat from hell who chew up a bunch a wiring) and it was explained to me that a short in the clock spring probably caused part of the computer to get fried. Anyways after that I had no issues until recently.

About a month ago I noticed it was seeming to jump into neutral randomly and back into gear, either while driving or sitting at a light. I noticed it only would do it when the jeep had time to warm up quite a bit either by sitting in traffic or by driving longer distances. Checked the transmission fluid and sure enough I was about a quart low so I filled it up, issue went away for about a month. It has returned as of last night though on my way back home after driving about 75-80 miles. Checked my transmission fluid and it is full... Just trying to get some ideas on what else I can try, or even if it might not be a transmission thing..

Alright, guys, can anyone actually help him? We don't need to chase off new members when we could simply educate them.

Captn01, you have an inline six (I6) motor which has the pistons in a row. Cherokees stopped using a V6 in '87. As for the transmission question, I'm not your guy. Sorry.
