Yes! Make sure you absolutely document this with pictures and some written notes as to the work you did. The mileage is stored in a small computer in the gauge cluster itself. It can cause quite a hassle if you ever need to sell the vehicle, or if insurance or something like that get involved.

It's probably the linkage in the steering column that goes from the key to the ignition switch.

On the passenger side axle tube the D30s had a housing for the vac motor. If the tube is straight then no fork was there

Are there any headers out there for my '96 4.0 that open up to 2.5" at the collector? I would like to make it so I can go 2.5" all the way through.

I have the APN header right now and I know I could probably just weld on a 2.25 to 2.5 inch adapter at the head of the downpipe and go from there but I would like to know if there are any headers that open up larger earlier. I can't seem to find any

I'm trying to get a leaf spring bolt out, I'm using a lot of heat and vise grips on it as tight as I can get it. It was working but now it is failing even with brand new vise grips it just slips.
Any ideas?

Okay so I got my trans working and while I was down there I fixed my t-case linkage so now I can finally get into 4low. But now when I put it in 4 low it keeps popping out back onto neutral? What could cause this? I have an np231 btw.

If its a bolt that goes through the shackle or into the unibody I'd reccomend that you use the correct socket.

Front leaf spring bolt, was seized in the bushing sleeve and had to be cut in half. Got the sleeve out and was walking it out slowly with vise grips and heat but is now not moving

Weld the head of a bolt on the end of it and then use a socket? If you have the means to do so
