I have a transfer case drop you can use if you need it. Leaf spring bolts are a stealership part. I don't remember the size for rear shock bolts. Dukie knows if nobody else can tell you.

I just used some 9/16 bolts nuts and lock washers from the hardware store for the shocks.

Alright just got home from doing some repairs...

I was installing new water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, fan clutch and belt. Oh and radiator cap.

So, I get done and fill her up with coolant, and its dribbling out the therm housing. I snug down the bolts a little tighter, as much as I was comfortable with. And top it off. Start it up, and coolants coming out of the therm housing and water pump. I shut it down. Snug down all the bolts I can reach without take stuff off again, topped it off. Say **** it, put up the tools, lock up. Stopped at the gas station to get smokes and whiles I was in there.... it didn't drop a bit. Stop and pick up my daughter, didn't drop a bit there either. Same thing when I got home. So, anybody know why this would do that? It just doesn't magically stop leaking right? I just used the paper gaskets no rtv. I cleaned the engine surfaces shiny, and wiped em off... its what I've always done and never had this issue.

Also, with a new belt should it squeak a little on start up? just like 1 sec and then it stops. Never had this issue either.

Thanks guys (and gals)...

So I am installing some new new skyjacker hydros, how the eff do you get the bushings in without bodily harm? I already ripped half my thumb nail off. Why didn't they just come with them already in like every other shock I have purchased.

Use your bench vise and a big socket and a little socket, go big socket shock eye bushing little socket and press them in, you can use some soap to lube them, I pushed mine in dryz

No vise, or bench. Haven't found a good deal on cl yet. I lubed them up with some grease, got the front two done. But the rear has 2 and the top one spins.

I used a little bit of grease, two scrap pieces of steel and a BIG *** pair of channel locks when I had to push bushings in only shocks. Just put some muscle in it.

That sucks about your thumbnail, I totally know the feeling.

Did you put the bar pin in first or after you put the bushing in? Yeah you never realize what an important evolutionary trait your thumb until it hurts like a son of a ***** and you can't use it.

lol, yeah that's an important one too. I have been trying to do it with the pin already in the bushing, will try without.
