I have a jvc head unit and it keeps saying "miswiring check wiring then reset head unit".... WELL, apparently i'm supposed to check the speaker terminals, but everything is wired correctly... It happened earlier and I fixed it just by detaching the aftermarket wiring harness and reattaching it, but this time it won't work. Any ideas? PLease HeLp!!!

How do guys fit an extra fan in the engine bay? I got one from the JY & I would like to use it as a back up on a switch. Any ideas?

Good idea, How do they handle water? Does it look weird? Do I need to remove my a/c condenser? I was thinking about doing it anyway, since my a/c compressor is shot.

Really the stock mechanical fan does not put a large load on the engine if the clutch is operating correctly so I don't know why you're concerned about it.
I would not run a push-pull setup like the previous poster said though, the fans will end up fighting each other and output will be worse than just the one fan (real push-pull setups that work use fans that are connected to each other with a rod so they work together).

No it's not enough to run 2 stock e-fans. You'd have to get a much bigger fan to make up for the difference, or run 3 smaller fans. DirtBoundOffroad has a great setup. Other vehicles have fans that can be adapted to work and have enough CFM (eg: Ford Taurus Fan) but you'll have to do research on it.

I could turn on pusher at drive thru's and slow wheeling and such.

The reason I ask is , she's been running pretty hot these days! So I'm about to replace my water pump which I believe is the culprit. I will also flush my radiator very well while i'm in there. In addition I was considering removing the condenser since my a/c compressor is shot. I've made it this long without a/c! Then I wanted to use the extra fan for backup. What do you guys think?

So i took a break from the PITA WJ and cut the grass. Came back tried to turn it over and nothing. So i tried it again while pumping the gas and it almost went! Tried again while being more aggressive with the throttle and it ran smooth as long as i kept tge rpms around 2000. As soon as i let off it dies. Does this mean fuel pump guys?

A mechanic friend of mine said CPS will send bad voltage to fuel pump. Does anyone have a pic of where the crank position sensor on a 4.0 power tech?
