A couple of ppl here say they get around 10-12 mpg with that setup. I know it gets bad around 33's but with a 4.5" lift that's gonna create drag on the rig

Personally i run Firestone Destination M/T tires and couldn't be happier with the treadware and performance. Bonus - they look sexy as hell too. The A/T flavor is very good as well.

From a while back - 235/75s fully stuffed, no trimming, no rubbing
Sexy tires!LOL

Would the 4.5" create a lot more drag than the 3"? It just seems like 1.5" wouldn't change much. Ive been talking to a guy with 4.5" and 31's and he gets around 19-21. He has an injector upgrade and filter. Would the injector and filter upgrade really boost it so much?

I just went from 3 to 4.5" and its not really noticeable. Off road its way nicer!

I run 33s and get like 16 hwy.

19-21 is better than I'm getting stock but yea the injector upgrade would do it and do you mean a cold air intake upgrade, a true CAI would help too. Plus a good tune up too

Edit: oh yea and 1.5" won't make more of a drag diff but yea offroad it'll be a great difference

No it was a k&n drop in filter. Wht does a cai run for price wise and what does it do?

There should be write up to do a true cold air intKe. You can get one from aem brute force but there are ones you can do cheap through the cowl. k&n filters can tend to let debri through into the filter. And the cold air intake allows more airflow to the engine over stock filter boxes

Default Oil Pan Transmission cover

I replaced the rear main oil seal and this was attached to the two rear oil pan 5/16 bolts. It faces the transmission inspection plate. Where can I find a new one, what is it called, or do I even need one. 2001 XJ auto 4.0 stock

Is this a stock Pittman Arm? (I'm aware my tre is doomed,in the process of changing it again lol) I was just wondering bc I know I have the zj steering swap done so I was kinda curious if this is the drop arm out of a zj also.

uh yeah you need that. That's the oil pan support bracket.

Best bet would be the junkyard for something like that

That's what I thought too...

Follow up question: would a Durango steering box with a zj Pittman arm on it be a solid junkyard upgrade? or is the combo not possible/stick to one or the other Just trying to get a parts list going for my next junkyard trip lol. Thanks

if you drop the pitman arm, you'll need to drop the trackbar mount also to prevent bump steer.

My durango box swap thread should clear up the rest:
