Hopefully, yes. If not, you may have a more serious problem.

If its in a harness somewhere, it's going to take some patience. But like 76 said, look for obvious damage first.

Go through the threads on here and you'll see ppl get flamed and whenever the experienced jeepers on here, that have been doing cars for a while, see someone run a setup that can go wrong while driving in the streets they let it be known. It's always for safety even though they are direct as ****

That's terrifying. Please stop what you are doing and read some info before you throw any other random parts at your poor XJ in an attempt to make it taller. And trail rated? I'd be scared to roll it down a driveway.

You would have literally gotten banned on NAXJA or pirate for even mentioning a 5 inch block. Seriously... We mean no harm. There are so many trolls around here and sorry to say but that setup sounds exactly like something someone would joke about. I mean a 3 inch "beginners" kit is only 250 bucks thru rough country. If you really don't have the money, doing a way UNSAFE lift is not the answer. Do some work and save your money. Honestly your going to run into way more trouble than its worth whenever you cut corners especially with an xj.

Yeah, AMC already cut enough corners with these things.
