Anyone know how to completely rewire an 88 Laredo for a Kenwood stereo? I doubt the model matters, my dimmer doesn't work anyway, a positive and a ground, plus 4 sets of speaker wires right?

I got a 1990 4.0L Cherokee automatic. I'm swapping my 90 inline 6 4.0L for a cheap 91 4.0 i found with pretty low miles. Im gonna just use the long block off the new(ish) engine and keep my intake&exhaust manifolds and cooling stuff(i just got a brand new cooling system basically). I'm just kinda nervous bout the whole swap its my daily driver and I wanna do it right and not have to mess around with it for weeks. I can do the thermostat , intake/ exhaust gaskets thats not gonna be a problem. Its more the sensors and stuff im not good with electronics i heard that the 91 doesnt have a knock sensor and the 90 does, so just wondering if that or any other computer stuff would be a problem because i know in 91 they redid the computers and put bigger injectors and stuff in. Mostly I'm worried about the knock sensor.. any suggestions/knowlege would be greatly appreciated!

A few questions this time around... First off I want to refinish my wheels, so I am putting some steels on for the winter. I am buying used ones, they are 16x6.5 which I know will work with my 16x7 tires, but they were previosuly used on a mazda 3. Is this wheel strong enough for my Jeep, or is my 97 grand most likely too heavy?
Second, I recently replaced my sway bar end links, and now it seems one of the bolts that connects bottom of the end link to actual sway bar has come undone. I have been driving jeep with a disconnected sway bar since I got it, (less a few weeks,) and I would like to know if I can just take the sway bar out and save some hassle. And if it is ok to remove sway bar, how hard is it to do?
Last question, not really tech but hopefully its ok, what could I do to make my cherokee a little louder without dropping a lot money?
Thanks...and excuse my newbieness

"Stupid question alert!" ;-)
When crawling under my 1994 Jeep Cherokee (from the front), there is a black rubber mat...I think this mat is to protect the underside of the engine from road debris? Can anyone tell me what the "rubber mat" is called? Mine has fallen to pieces; parts were hanging down & others were dragging on the ground so I removed it...I want to replace it to have that protection underneath. I called three parts places (including a Jeep Dealership's Parts Dept) to no avail.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

it's not really necessary unless you plan on driving through large puddles or mud regularly. Most ppl just leave it off
No off-roading for me. Just use the Jeep to pull my trailer (5x8 enclosed) for my DJ company. We have had a boatload of rain this summer causing some main streets to flash flood and if this winter is anything like last, we'll have a [self-censored]-load of snow too!
Thanks again, dukie564.

I think I may have a blown fusible link H. The rear defrost doesn't work. The Fog lights don't work. The underhood light doesn't work. The headlight delay doesn't work.
Where is the fusible link located? Can I purchase a replacement? How easy is it to replace?
