no, i just cant hit the post button, it always starts out light blue then turns darker after you type something, but it just isnt turning collors, and it wont click.

Any tips on replacing the fuse junction box on a 1999? The one located in the cab near the passenger kick panel?

 

Pull harness and replace all attached.

I need to replace the main harness that comes into the box as well. Part of it melted today after it took a salt water bath. Long story, but it did.

 

I'm the guy who said to wash the salt off.

 

Give him a break. The poor guy is from Texas

 

Thanks for that but apparently the harness that comes in had some water sitting and I did not get it out and it melted when the current jumped across via the salt water. When I say melted so much smoke came out I thought it was on fire. I had to run to the fuse block in the engine compartment and pull the battery fuse to stop it.

How screwed am I on getting the junction box and incoming harness removed and replaced. I'm sure it ain't difficult, but I imagine it will be tedious.
