I plan on trying, I am about to fill out the police report (officer is on his way). But I have the bare minimum coverage for the state, so I doubt it will be covered. But I plan on trying, I have to get this job done tomorrow so I kind of need to know what I'm getting in too. I have a rear defroster option so I hope that doesn't hurt me (and I use it frequently) are all year windows good to be put in?
Heyyyyyyy! I was thinking about getting either a 3.5 in lift for my jeep or a 6in. How much does either affect gas mileage? I was just curious. Stupid question (i know) but i've never had a lift. :P
Thanks for the help guys. Gas mileage isn't an issue so for the time being I'll just leave it locked up and take the suggestion and find a cable disconnect set up. By the way, this is the toughest truck I've ever had. Aside from the vacuum problem the only lingering glitch is replacing the clutch slave every year and then never getting all the air bled out. Price of ownership I guess.

its goingt to reduce it thats for sure. also depends on size of tires you run too. one thing to help get it back to stock MPG or close is to regear the axles to match the size tires your running. although alot of people dont do this. but it will help your city MPGs out a little if ya can swing the regear. dont expect to get near what your getting now. probably lose 3-8 MPGs. but then again most people dont get a new speedo gear either and that there will give an inaccurate reading on your odometer therefore an in accuarte MPG reading too. this is needed due to the larger rolling diameter of larger size tires. hope this helps.

i wouldnt call it easy as much as i would call it a pain in the ASSK me how i know. its glued in there pretty good much like a front windshield. also youll have to be carful removing it. we had to use some pretty stong wire rope and wrapped each in around some wood for handles to cut through. took several tries as it would break the wire rope. but it can be done with a little persistance and patience too. just take your time that glue is tough as nails.
