So what Im wondering is if someone can tell me where to feel and cut/remove the hose. The one with the braiding got hot but none of the otheres didi or felt like they had pressure.
jeeze would it be so hard to take a picture right side up lol?

Anyways, your pictures suck, but i'll be the hose running out of the top of the thermostat housing at the front of the engine, back to the firewall/heater core that you want to splice into. Should be about 1" diameter.

Sounds like a "signal" is traveling right. I could've wrong but sounds like a grounding issue if it works right when you go to battery.

I have a rhythmic front end shake/vibration at about 45mph and 55-60mph. At those speeds, regardless of throttle, braking, or turning I get the front end shake for about 5 seconds, stops for about 3, then back for 5 seconds, etc. Not a death wobble though. At any other speed, it is not there. There is a chance the shake is harder on turns, like when getting off the expressway and slowing down through a wide turn.

Any idea what this could be? I was thinking a ujoint, but haven't found any information about symptoms showing up in bursts at certain speeds.

Thanks!

Is there any noise with it. Try and see I'd it does it when you let go of the wheel and it's straight. Might be tie rods

Where would the grounds be located that could cause that code or problem?

No way in hell it is going strait, with the shake or not lol. Would tie rods be damaged, if say there was a minor front end crash while the wheels were turned

Thanks for the info. I have replaced the distributor which fixed the starting problem but now the car misses badly until it warms up or gets above 1500 rpm. The mechanic can't find the problem. Any ideas.

Tie rod can go at any time. More prone to fail upon impact. With it off rock steering back and forth and listen for noise.

does it die when you come to stop, or slow down to make a turn?

Yup, if you want to be able to use your 4wd they need to match or you'll explode your transfer case or worse.

My headlights are pretty much junk as it is, but what would cause my passenger side light to get dimmer when I turn the high beams on? My poor xj looks like it gets kicked in the nuts every time I flash someone, just wincing in pain lol. Sucks going down the country roads at night, I just hope the deer cross left to right.
