Yes, you can convert. Just make sure you are upgrading all to 29 spline. Shafts ring and pinion.

Default are there any symptoms for bad oil pump?

I have a 95 jeep cherokee with a bad oil pressure gauge. or so i thought..i bought a new oil pressure sending unit and that did not fix it. if it is my oil pump what symptoms would show up to prove that that's what it is? it seems to run fine..

Make sure that you have the right sensor, when I was solving my issue (believe we had the same problem on a different thread) I had replaced the sensor only to later find out the guy sold me the sensor for the dummy light dash, not for the actual gauge. So I would check again, and hopefully you were sold the wrong gauge.

As a temp solution get one of those stick on led touch lights until you redo the liner

I noticed my carpet on the drivers side keeps getting wet during mod-heavy rains
while driving thru a storm notice water coming down from up underneath the dash
almost like it was coming in from the front drivers quarter panel/ Looked at the door seal which was starting ot come off and reattached it with silicone, still have the problem, I know this is a vague description but wondering where to start, can it be coming in thru hood/down the firewall? BTW awhile back I reapplied adhesive to the windshield trim in the along the top and along the drivers side, didn't notice anything right after that though,

Any suggestions where to start?

Happens to me, the braking part, and ppl here say it can be a sticky caliper. I've noticed that when I press evenly on the brake pedal I stop center but if I press the brake pedal more towards the right side I'll pull left.

I have a 96' and not only are the plugs the same but the rods and washers that hold them on are the same. If I was you I would try to find a junk yard. I was lucky enough to find one at a jy that had 2 map lights on it also. It was a direct swap also.
