Hi guys,im learning my way around my 2001 xj,its got a 4" lift and at the moment it has 16 inch steel modular wheels with 265/70/16 kumho alterains,iv just bought some orvis alloys off an xj they are 16"/7J with 32 offset can you guys tell me if my tires will fit these rims? i understand the rim size is the same but the offset concept is something i dont understand,sorry if this is a dunb question but i dont want to go to the tire fitter and find out they wont fit.many thanks in advance for any help.....

yea, it means you have a limited slip rear end. Good buy! Your picture confirms this.
You need special friction modifier fluid to add to the differential fluid when you refill it. I believe the amount required is 2 ounces.
The angle of the pinion on the rear axle needs to match the angle of the transfer case output. In case of a stock XJ, the angle is 0* (parallel to the ground)
