Bad mileage. Or there is prob some test but they were supposed to be changed every 82,500 miles i think. They are like $35 i think on rockauto.

The o2 sensor on my catalytic converter is broken off. What are the drawbacks of not having that sensor?

Correct. Just ordered them for my D30 and the new D44. I ordered from 4WD.com cause they were the same price everywhere, and 4WD is a local business for me back home.

(1998 XJ Classic) Is there an easy way to change the upper ball joints without pulling the axial shafts and draining the front differential oil and changing seals etc? Spend three hours trying to do passenger side upper very frustrating! Ended-up put it all back together do be able to drive it.

Drums shouldn't be much new, id get new ones rather than going to the jy and possibly pulling 4 sets before finding good ones. I'm not sure about changing both at one time?

If you're replacing one replace them both. Just like if you're doing brake cylinders, calipers or pads. like above said just buy new they're not much more expensive. Get them from rockauto.com if you can wait a week. Prices are usually half the price of auto stores.

Glad everyone's okay.
