Do you notice the voltmeter gauge going up to 20 or is it something your mechanic said?

Measure the tps input and output voltage to diagnose wether it is bad or not.

So I'm definitely new to this. Bear with me guys haha. I have a 94 Cherokee 2wd Auto. A little while back my headlight on the left hand side stopped working. Soon after the right side stopped too. I assumed it was the bulbs so I switched em out. Still nothing. The high beams work just fine but they won't stay on unless I hold them there. All other lights work fine as well. Gauge lights work as well when I pull the light switch out one click but when I pull it all the way out the headlights don't come on. I checked all fuses and they're good. Please Help!

I just bought a 2000 Cherokee XJ Sport and I have a couple issues to iron out. First off, the front end is loud and stiff! Now, I know that Jeeps ride relatively stiff, but this is out of the ordinary. When I hit a bump in the front, there is a loud knock that comes from the suspension, the steering feels a bit loose, and it feels like I have hit a semi truck. I'm bouncing all over the place. I just replaced the tires, but the old passenger front tire was worn (on the inside) completely to the steel belts. I'm wondering if anyone has input on common issues? I jacked the Jeep up and wiggled the tires at the 3 and 9 positions, then at the 6 and 12, and there was no real play at all, but I don't want to rule anything out. A visual inspection turned up no real indication.

The other problem I have is with the wipers. They simply don't work. I pulled out the motor and tested it, and it works fine. I don't know if its the switch or a relay, but I'd rather test the relay before buying a switch. Can anyone tell me where the relay/fuse is on this vehicle?

Thanks in advance for any input you might have!

Problem: it idles rough like the fuel is getting clogged or like the flow of fuel is being interrupted. And everyonce in a while the jeep will die while I'm driving it, I then have to put it back in to Park and start the vehicle again.

Could this be the fuel filter? or the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Thanks, Aaron
I just replaced my fuel filter and it's made a huge difference. Why do ppl neglect their vehicles?

I have a 1989 5 speed Cherokee. What is are the ratios of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and most importantly 5th gear? I assume 4th is 1:1

Maybe this would be better suited here:

I recently cut and folded my fenders on my '00 XJ... While I had the rear tires off I found out that my bumpstops are ****! I pulled one off by hand. I also just recently put 30's on so I am going to need bumpstops if I hit the trails (especially once I take out that damn sway bar). My question to y'all is what are the best bumpstops to get? I would like to get a front and rear set (might as well do it right) and Im not scared to weld in rather than bolt on. I will more than likely be lifting 3" and may run a larger tire not too long after that so maybe adjustable bumpstops? Just let me know what y'all think I should do. Im mainly a JK guy so Im more familiar with the wranglers... Any help would be appreciated.
