If its not that wire, do you know what else it could be? And do you possibly know the ohms reading that should be coming off that wire?

No rear synchros in reverse as I understand it in the ax-15. I just ordered a pre-filled assembly clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder assembly. I also ordered a clutch kit. I figure it can't hurt, and I don't really know the life span of these clutch systems. Am I on the right track. The Master Cylinder is full of fluid and I don't see any leaks in the slave. I'm just thinking they got weak. Could it be a pressure plate issue? I just don't know if I wasted money ordering this stuff, I suppose I could return it. Truth be told, I actually enjoy working on my Jeeps and don't mind learning new things about them. I just wish I had the cash flow to upgrade them.
I don't know how well it will work for you (you said you did the shift shuffle already) but a little trick I used to do with my f150 when the clutch was going out allowed me to drive it for another year and half. Third gear and reverse use or match up the same synchros. So with clutch pedal pushed I would go directly to third gear (still holding clutch pedal to floor) then swiftly into reverse. Worked every time with no grinding.

Looking for an inexpensive, brush guard, bull guard, or grill guard.

I just used some locked tight on mine. So far its held for over two years. Took me maybe an hour at most, with beverage breaks.

These are EXTREMELY important when working on a jeep, more so with an XJ as they keep everything in perspective!

Is a track bar up grade required when going from stock lift to 3.5 lift?

At 3.5" I think that's the limit for being able to use a relocation bracket and/or drill a new mounting hole. You're likely better off getting an adjustable. Try the Modified Tech forum: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/

not "required" but definitely worth the money if you can afford it. I'm at 3" with a stock track bar and have no issues really.
