I just can't seem to get my head around why the crown hub is more then twice the price of the Timken... Thank you very much, that IS all I needed to know

Automatic? 3.55:1 is the factory setting for most autos. Cherokee didn't come with a 4-speed manual I don't think.
You can get away with about 30" tires before you notice too much of a change, once you go to 31" you'll notice less power in stop-and-go driving and poor acceleration. 33" will start to look pretty bad and where most people consider regearing.

yes automatic. i really dont plan on runing 31's and what not. just woundering. i dont know hardly anything bout gearing is there a thread that can teach ya on how that stuff works. like smaller gearing used for what and bigger gearing used for what? like to learn
