will a super tiny exhaust leak cause a miss fire ?
I think i found another leak, but im unsure and have to pull my header to be sure of it being a super small crack

EDIT: Will the iac cause a misfire on only one cylinder?

For what it's worth, check the plug on the injector, and try swapping the injector to an other cylinder. Just a thought!!

No. And no.

What if you got a bad plug wire out of the box?

Is it possible i got two sets of bad wires from 2 different places? Ive changed them twice and swapped 1 and 6 wire on each set. Im kinda leaning towards a burnt valve but my compression is great and doesn't change.

Did anyone feel a difference in their brake peddle after doing the ZJ PV guts swap. Like the peddle is softer afterwards?

checked all my vacuum lines and all looked good... would the ac control head do this and make my ac go thru the defrost then all of a sudden start working normal again?

I've been shopping for a new jeep and I've been looking for a 99 4x4. Am I smart to avoid the 00 and 01 or are the issues with the block blown out of proportion..?

Well it all depends on how much work you want to do and how much money you want to spend. The nice thing about a vehicle is that parts can be replaced. Bleepinjeep has a video about what year xj is good for your application. Generally it is a cracked exhaust manifold that is an issue but someone else could tell you more about the engine block problems on the 00-01. 99 seems like a great year to me. Check for rust.

How do you remover the brake light switch? I've got it unplugged but I'm not flexible enough to see behind the bracket to figure out how it gets removed.

I've got power to the brake light fuse yet I have neither brake lights or hazards? Just trying to piece my way through to where the electricity stops but I'm stumbling at removing this switch.

Default No mushrooms growing in interior

My 97 interior is in decent shape, no mold, rust or biology experiments growing! It is pretty dirty and looks like hell! I was considering tearing out the carpet and going with DIY liner. Questions are?
Is it obnoxious noisy inside?
Can you cut a hole and have plugs to hose it out?
Can I weld in some tie down hooks in rear?

Yes to all of the above, but I recommend doing it. Removing carpet is Step 1 every time I buy a Jeep.

I can't seem to remember if the rear floor is single wall or double. If single, I'd suggest sandwiching it with plate for your tie-downs. When I rolled my XJ, my jack ripped the stock tie-down bolts right out of the floor and almost killed me. With metal that thin, I personally wouldn't trust a weld to hold weight in a worst case scenario
