Is the pedal solid feeling?

They can be bear to bleed.

Try this:

Pump the clutch pedal 40 times. No bleeding at all. Check the fluid level. Walk away for 10 minutes. See how it is. Better? Do it again.

Can you use an 89 distributor cap on a 98?
I asked this once before and someone said yes, after reading the renix to ho swap I seen this bit of info:

You will need to use your Renix distributor as it is different than the HO because they use different fuel management systems.

So Ill ask it once again and see if anyone can chime in and tell me for sure. Can I use a distributor cap from an 89 on a 98? I got a spare one with my parts jeep that was brand new in the box, the parts jeep is an 89 and my dd is a 98.

It was me that said yes cause I did it. The actual distributor unit is different as it has different type pick up inside but the caps are interchangeable... NOt the rotor..

Ok solid info. I figured you were right I just wanted to be sure. I will use the cap and will have to just clean my old rotor then.

Default 96 cherokee pinion nut size?

I have a 96 cherokee 2.5 2wd and I have to change my pinion seal. I am having a hard time finding the right size socket for removing the pinion shaft nut. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Ps. I know it's a noob question. I happen to be a nursing student who loves his jeep. Thanks.

Welcome to the site. You got all the info except which axle you're dealing with, is it a Dana 35? 1-1/8" for that axle. Chrysler 8.25" is either 1-1/4" or 32mm.

If you don't know which you have, Chrysler 8.25" on the left, Dana 35 on the right.

Wait for it.. you should get quite a few answers. I heard some people feeling a difference but the majority consensus is it a waste of money and useless to use a throttle body spacer on a non carburated engine.
Again, Im only speaking from what I read many, many, many times.

Like Karl said it's a waste of money. In an MPFI you can increase performance by providing smoother air flow (99+ intake also not really worth it) or more air flow (easy). Bored throttle body is a good place to start.

There really isn't any "good bolt-on performance" for a 4.0. Bored TB, actual cold air intake (cowl or snorkle), and free-flowing exhaust are pretty much it.
