I missed the cam excitement, comp pretty much claims all their cams improve horse power, torque, throttle response, and fuel economy. Do some research on lift and duration, then check out cam timing, I'm using comps most aggressive cam with a mega squirt ECU and 36 lbs/hr injectors, and a '99 intake manifold on a 91 engine, my jeep used to be a renix, had to delete that crap. I have more power, yes. better throttle response, yes. lope at idle, yes. Fuel economy is about 17-19 mpg running a very lean cruising mixture and a permanently installed wide band O2 sensor. I have 3:55 gears and an Ax15, it's a little more greedy than stock running leaner than stock. So if you want fuel economy buy a prius. My cam is not recommended for fuel injection, stock computer can't be properly tuned for it. It's the .493/.512 lift cam.

Don't get me wrong, dealing with the renix issues is easier than building a computer and going into the uncharted territory of writing a tune for a setup that never existed from the factory, but I had my share of wiring and idle issues, and I had my sights set on forced induction, so renix wasn't an option to do it right.

Dissing Renix is what's called "pigeon mentality"
I'm afraid explaining to you would be like playing chess with a pigeon.
It wouldn't matter how skilled I am, the bird would knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut around like it's victorious.
In your attitude, you are very similar to such a bird.
Why should I bother with structured examples, when it's clear that you won't debate, but instead disqualify without reason.

Entertaining example Cruiser, I have an '88 Porsche 944, and trust me, my '88 Cherokee had a much better fuel injection system, sequential injection, the whole enchilada, but I sense there's more to this discussion than French computersand pigeon excrement. lol
