Thanks heaps for that. Will adjust the TV cable. Have changed the fluid once already, actually flushed it at the cooler. I've got a TCM coming from ebay, hard to find much in the way of 2nd hand gear here in Aus so it's coming from the states. Thanks again everyone.

Default Driveshaft bolts

I have a 1996 cherokee sport. When I purchased the jeep the front driveshaft was not installed. I have the driveshaft but no bolts. My question is, where can I find the proper bolts to install the driveshaft? Any information is greatly appreciated.

I got mine from the dealer. OEM part number 6036415AA. Around $5 each.

Those circuits are not on the same circuit as the turn signals. And they don't share the same ground.

I have a '99 XJ and every time it rains I have a puddle on the passenger front floor. I sealed everything. Any clue where it could be leaking from???

Default motor question

Hey guys I'm a newb to this site and bought my first jeep today its a 99 sport 4.0 4-door 5-speed got it for 400 bucks good body and interior just needs a motor they blew head gasket and drove for a while it will start but needs a new motor rod knock its high mileage too. It was built 4/99 still has distributor. I know this has probably been asked a lot but I was wondering what year motors will interchange if I pull my fuel rail manifold etc and swap to new motor. I know I can get a low mileage 96-98 motors at junkyard around home for $ 350. I've swapped motors in other vehicles what is the usual swap time? thanks for your time!

Thanks! so if I can find a good 96-99 motor it will be just plug and play swap I don't want to get into swapping heads and stuff I'm ready to drop one in and get out on the trail I just wish I could have put head gasket on this motor and drive but they just let it get way to hot.

Yeah pretty much but u should swap over the intake manifold and the alternator/starter because I think the connectors were different.

Open your cowl and put a hose in there. Just make sure the drain holes are good an open. Second, inspect the lining around your windshield
