Name WAS Perseus. Changed it to Princess and it works just fine. Being as her lineage is German Dobermans and because of the way she acts with me, she is now Princess Von Velcro. Excellent dog. Craigslist for free from a fellow Jeeper who couldn't spen enough time with her due to a new job.

I don't get it? What do you mean?
Put the Jeep in park, turn the key on, climb under there and jump the starter with a screw driver. Report back with whether or not it starts.
Jump the two top bolts in this picture.
Just because it's a new start doesn't mean it's good but the issue is most likely elsewhere. Do some diagnostics instead of throwing parts at it.
Don't get run over.
Put the Jeep in park, turn the key on, climb under there and jump the starter with a screw driver. Report back with whether or not it starts.

So, that tells you that for some reason you're not sending power from the relay to the starter.
I'd start by making sure you're getting power in and out of the starter relay.
Pull the PDC out and test from the bottom of that relay. If you're getting power out of the relay then that wire is broken somewhere between the relay and the starter.
OR you're not getting power to the constant side of the relay.

Has anyone personally wired an alarm into an XJ? Anyone have a wireing break down of what I'd need to hook it up?
I'll by buying 2 alarms for my XJ and civic and I found a break down for the civic but not the XJ. Any help would be appreciated.

What's a steering wheel "lock plate"?
Is this different from a steering wheel puller?
I am trying to replace my turn signal switch,
and all these threads refer to the steering wheel lock plate.
Is this only for older Jeeps? I have a 1998.

Ok. That makes more sense. You may have read my sentence out of context.
Either way, I assumed you mean that you XJ is running fine you just feel that it is lacking the power that it used to have before adding modifications.
What size tire are you running? 4.0? Automatic?
