Adjusted it, still has a wobble, I'm assuming it's tires now. They're on the old side. Whatever, its not DW.

While I was putting new plugs in, I had to move the upper hose aside. While I did that it made it start leaking coolant where it connects to the therm housing. It stopped, but now when it gets to temp its leaking out. Could I have just made it come loose? Or should I just get a new hose, it's prolly due for replacement anyways.

New hose wouldn't hurt, but a hose clamp would probably do the trick.

I'm looking for an exhaust hangar. It's the rubber piece right by the transfer case where you stick a pin into it to hold the exhaust. It has broken two exhaust front pipes. What happens is the exhaust pipe vibrates into the transfer case brace and it causes the hanger weld on the pipe to crack and break. Any ideas where I can find it? I saw someone said its under transmission mounts but im not sure if thats the correct part.

currently researching this topic but here is the deal..

I have a 96 xj runs and drives fine

can pick up a cheap 89 xj 2door (I'd prefer the 2door) but with wiring harness chewed up and Idk if it even really runs (I just assume anything a seller says is a lie)

either way if it's not rotted out (he said it wasn't) and it's not ratted out on the inside. I plan to get it.

I'm assuming the fact that I have a running and driving vehicle makes it that much better when it comes to swapping but what am I really looking at?

engine/trans computer and entire wiring harness?

Grabbed a new hose on my way back, and some anti-freeze and a hose clamp. Glad I did...

So happy it happened, lol. Way easier to deal with at home than on the side of the road in BFE.

Thanks Hick, I used the fork and a 5 lb. hammer. The hammer won.
