XJ Ask the Question Thread
Idk if anyone on here has asked before (I can't find anything on it) but does anyone happen to have a write up on how to do the cowl intake mod that alot of people have done. In pretty sure I know how to go about doing it, but I don't want to jack anything up extremely bad.
Thanks all

I am removing the steering knuckle on the passenger side because the caliper bolt holes are stripped. I have everything disconnected except the ball joints. I cannot get the knuckle off of the ball joints. Should I continue to beat hell out of the knuckle or do I need a special tool?

Did you ever get a response? I have the same problem ('99 XJ Limited), pisses off my wife who has to ask me to operate the window for her. Once in a while pass-side switch does work, but generally does not. Window lock does not seem to be the problem. Is the problem at the driver's side or the passenger's? Since driver's side works for all, seems logical it is passenger's switch, but my mechanic seems stumped.
