Depends, do you have any rust on the metal right above the windshield or in the crease? If you do the windshield must be removed as whoever installed that windshield did not properly prep and seal where the windshield sits before they installed it. You'll need the windshield removed and reinstalled properly for a permanent fix.

Dumb question imbound:
This is a Chrysler rear? Correct? I was told its not and that it's a Dana35. I was under the impression it was a Chrysler, judging by photos of the two. I'm almost 100 sure it's a Chrysler.
Sorry for the crappy pic I just took. It has a rubber plug not a threaded plug. When I flushed it and painted the diff I didn't see any markings. The front is a Dana 30 I know that bc it had Dana stamped on it when I flushed and painted it.

The windshield is the original one, which is why I'm a little reluctant to replace it!

I want to replace mine because it's original. I don't know the history or how many times it's been impacted.

Anyway, it's raining now so went to have a look. Water is coming in at the top of the A-pillar (drips at edge of headliner), and the water extends a couple of inches back from the top of the windshield.
Is this more likely to be the windshield or the roof rails (or something else!)?? I'm guessing windshield...

Haha, I just like the fact that the little "Safeguard" logos on all the windows match, but then I'm a little OCD about that stuff.

Need a little help; I was doing my rad went to change out the thermostat and the lower bolt on the housing snapped; I drilled it out and re tapped it put a 3/16 grade 8 bolt. It went in got a little tight but then loose so I'm leaking coolant from the bottom of the housing.. never done anything like this so Idk where to go from here any advise?
And to the person asking about their rearend, that is for sure the chrysler 8.25. I can see the flat bottom and also recognize the diff cover.
