Default Graphic Display Module (GDM) Grand Cherokee 1998 question

Does anything ever display on the passenger side panel of the GDM?
There are three display panels in my Graphic Display Module.
The driver side panel displays the "4WD Low" and "4WD Hi" status.
The center panel has the Jeep outline, showing if doors are open, tailgate is ajar, etc.
The passenger side panel does... what? Mine doesn't light up. Is anything supposed to display on that side?
Note that this is a Graphic Display module, not an Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). The EVIC has two buttons on that passenger side panel. My GDM has no buttons.
Many thanks?

Been looking at another XJ. Just saw one with factory tow hooks. Assuming they were installed at the factory, that would mean it has the towing package. That would mean 3.73 gears. Would all that mean it has the 8.25? Maybe upcountry package too?

Assume nothing. You could get the VIN checked for options installed. Don't know if the guy that did that on CF is still around.

Nope, nope, and nope.

- Front recovery hooks have nothing to do with towing package.
- Front recovery hooks were included with UpCountry or orderable as an option with the skid plates.
- However, they may be installed not at the factory, or aftermarket entirely
- Towing package has not included a gearing change since the late 1980s
- 3.73:1 with towing was available on a Dana 44 and possibly 35, not Chrysler 8.25.

I didn't know about the last two.

I had seen an 01 limited at the JY. Had towing package and I checked the gears. They were something weird like 3.34 or 3.64 something I was unaware existed. Had the LP30 and D35 though.

Yeah once Chrysler got involved, the towing package was:

- AW4 with auxiliary cooler
- Mopar factory hitch
- Mopar factory trailer wiring

Maybe the 10" brakes. Not much to get excited about...

Thank you for nipping that. D44 was only '87-89 tow package.

I mean, some members still had the original window stickers from the dealer and they had "factory towing package" on the list and there was no coolers anywhere. I noticed most of them occurred on 97-01 Cherokees.

Not even the factory little one down low in front of the AC condenser?
