found a dana 30 from a 94 with less miles than my 98. Has 3.55 gear ratio he says. Any reason I shouldn't use this for my 4x4 conversion?

Weaker U joints in the shafts, not a huge deal though. You can swap in later model (or ABS) shafts at any time afterwards. Or just live with it if you don't run very large tires.

Yes I continued to use Wix. If theres something better let me know. I work at a Walmart lube shop and we use the Fram filters but I dont use them on my jeep. I actually often inform customers with the 4.0l to shy away from them and just bring us in a wix or better.

Although the shops dont use the same orange cans sold on the sales floor. We use COR filters. Honestly not sure if they are any better but the cans are re designed and internals look to be improved but iv never opened one up.

Wix is great. What 15-40 were you using?

I wouldn't be too quick to blame a rMS leak on changing oils though.

Just cheap supertech. Havnt had the extra money lately to buy some decent oil fo it but it needed a oil change so it got some more but this time a thinner weight.

Also I started to the renix tips and re wired the battery cables and cleaned all connections and grounds. HOLY HELL does it crank hard now! Way more power going through the system. It was like a supercharged starter! Lol

Ran outta time tonight but will be doing what I can to finish through the list. Hopefully after my system does the 50 key flicks it will run smoother. Im really trying to figure out my sputter and random surging idle.

On a 95 ZJ 4.0l would the IAC cleaning be the same or does it have a different part to control idle?

I really wanna do a 2wd to 4x4 conversion. Anyone think it's a bad idea?
