That plug? There should be another end somewhere in the Jeep. It's for passing electrical signals, but the circuit only works if you put them together.

What problems could a shotty ignition switch cause? Like lights, wipers etc. My steering column locks automatically and its a ***** to remove my key from the ignition.

I would say yes, but that's mostly because I'm experiencing the same problem with the fender flopping around. Mine got better when I put my flare back on though. Just needs something to brace the fender.

There are 2 components involved here. The key tumbler where the key goes in, and the electrical switch which is connected to that tumbler and is mounted on the steering column.

Just found a 4x4 parts store near my house! I was planning on using mostly Crown parts for my cooling system overhaul. The parts store that I found sells Omix Ada. I have next to zero experience with either Crown or Omix. I'd like to save on shipping by buying locally and their prices are cheaper than Quadratec, et al. Any opinions on these two brands? Is one better than the other? Do they both suck? What's up?

Thanks in advance!

Is it a stick or automatic? If it's a automatic. It's called a flexplate
