There are some things you should save a buck on and there are some things that leave you stranded when they break.

Running 3in of lift on my xj with jk rubi shocks that are limiting my flex. With 3in of hockey puck bump stops I can run 15" compressed length shocks. What If I add another puck to limit up travel however the longer shocks will help with down travel. 3in of up travel plenty?

That didn't happen either, the coolant just sorta sat there in a puddle. so i tried squeezing the hoses again and i noticed the coolant in the radiator cap location rise and fall when i pinched and release the hoses. Thoughts? Should i swap my pump or look elsewhere for overheat problems?
The impellers on the water pump will erode/rust away. Unless you pull it off, I don't know of another way to tell. Being 21 years old, you likely need a new one.

If it's original, that's probably your issue.

cliff notes at bottom***

Well on the way home from the junkyard in my 1991 4.0, I finally found a replacement grey seat, wiper transmission in good condition from a 1995, a cherokee decal I was missing, washer sprayer nozzles I snapped when removing my wiper transmission, when I made it about 15 miles and I started to smell burning oil. I was 1/2 mile from mc donalds stop (for the wife) so I kept driving and figured I'd check it out there. I get to the turn light and I put it in nuetral (ax15) and it feels ruff, like it has a miss. I take off when the light changes and it feels like I have a 2.0L, very low on power so I turn it off and coast into the parking lot. I popped the hood and sure enough my idiot light (base model) failed me and I over heated. I let it cool, no major water leaks and topped off the radiator. I carefully drove home with the heater on and it felt normal and didn't have any more issues but I have no idea what the temperature really is. Do you think I killed my head gasket?

*** over heated my 4.0 when idiot light failed to the point the engine idled very ruff, let cool runs normal now, did I kill my head gasket?

Looks like a couple issues:
1) Ground issue somewhere still, or is small current value normal/ok on dome light circuit? (Dome lights work correctly, open door and using switch)...
SNIP - the question above was missed on part of an earlier post. The drivers side overhead light will not shut off now. It's done this before, but I thought I had fixed it. Is this going to be ground related, or? See above - voltage on the ground side of the circuit at the headlight switch (brand new).

And, YES, I've already done Cruiser54's tips on ground refresh...and fixed a another southern engineered ground left from the P.O.

I live in Phx, Az and was wondering if there was any type of stick on insulation I could put under my head line to lower in cab temps to help keep it cool in the cab.

Each trim level has its own standard and optional features. The Wikipedia page for Cherokees has a pretty good breakdown under the Trim Levels heading.
