So I got new bushings for the extended shackles that I have, and it came with new sleeves.
I noticed it's 3/16 longer than total length of bushings. (It's 3 inches long and the bushings on shackles measure out to be 2-13/16 inches long)
Is this normal? Or do I need to grind the sleeve down to 2-13/16?

Has anyone dealt with kreiders kustoms bumpers? I've heard a few bad things but that was 2-3 years ago and recently I've seen a few people really happy with them. I'm looking at their rear tire carrier and he has an unbelievable deal and I like the look of them.
I don't know. I didn't take off the stock shackles yet. I'm building shackle relocation brackets now and don't know if I should set the distance at 2-13/16 or 3 inches before I weld it. Are the sleeves supposed to be flush with bushings or stick out like .094 on both sides?

Not sure. Most sleeve/bushings I have seen are flush with the bushing. The Clayton shackles I have use a clevite bushing, little different than most.

Here's a little info on why you should weld an 8.8: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/has-anyone-seen-ford-8-8-axle-tube-slip-175071/
And here's a more complete break down of why the 8.8 is better: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/8-25-vs-ford-8-8-a-84840/
