Your buddy is sorely mistaken. The AW4 uses a screen, not a filter. Probably better off listening to the guys here.......

That's what I thought, he does drive a ford and works at Chevy. Do I need to drain the torque converter?

Just drain and fill. Don't use a pressure machine. It can dislodge varnish and then you tranny will be toast.

There are systems that use the transmission pump without adding pressure or backflushing. That's what I had done on my Comanche, and I had no problems.

Doors are different sizes and not interchangeable. There's a write-up on here for fixing the window lock button (which is why only the driver door window controls work). Door locks may be a blown fuse?

A specialized hardware store. They are M14x2.0 120MM ISO Class 10.9. Neither Fastenal or Brafasco had these on hand, and the one independent guy that did sold me his entire stock.

Uses:
Leaf spring to perch
Leaf spring to shackle
Shackle to frame
LCA to frame
LCA to axle

Possibly UCA as well? They were different on my '88 MJ.

I have at least 8 of those bolts as extras.

Also uca bolts are smaller.
