ok so today I finished cleaning up the jeep a bit. took it out for a drive enjoying the day. I noticed this super high piched whine when I throttle. I mean like dog whistle time whine. but only at a certain point then when I would increases the throttle it went away back to a coast and it comes back. almost like a ringing of the ears noise... any idea what could cause it? I cant seem to pin point the noise.

Possibly bad connectors. Make sure your voltage is roughly 14.25V when engine is running. If it is around 12 ish, it means your alternator is either not charging or there is a bad connection somewhere.

I've never heard of a car that needed to have the battery recharged separate of the alternator if it dies. That's the point of the alternator. and I've killed the Jeeps battery several times in the past and not had the same problem.

Edit... charged up fine with the charger.
Also like I said... if the alternator couldn't charge the battery back up they would never have invented jumper cables cause they wouldn't work.

I've always been able to just drive away and have the jeep run fine once I get it jumped. The alternator has always CHARGED my battery fine.
