Got a couple of questions that popped up while I was banging away at the JY:
Has anyone reassembled a rubber dust boot with RTV? I cut the one off of a DS I bought as it had a tear already and I thought it was limiting conpression. Clean it up, bead of Ultra Black, press together? It fits over the slip portion of a front DS.
What is the name of the little block on the rear axle that splits juice to both brakes from the single brake hose? And where might I find one? NAPA and RockAuto aren't giving me much love. I'd like my 8.25 swap to be as simple as possible.

The block is on the brake hose I thought?

No I mean the one that the body brake hose drops into. It's screwed onto the axle tube and feeds hard lines

Always rust lol. Actually, my XJ's front DSes don't have boots, I'm not that bothered though because they're actually greasable with zerk fittings. This ZJ one has no such fitting, so if crap gets in there I'll have to remove the whole damn thing.

Has a bolt the vent bolt thing through that block
