Your late model is obviously a little more than painting the top part.
What do you mean by top part

He was saying you'd only have to paint the very top part of the header panel because early model XJ's only had the top part painted.

Your late model requires painting the whole thing...

Try to keep up.

Also, your Cherokee just so happens to be my favorite color. Please do not attempt to paint it the same Gay-Boy Blue as Hick92.

That's the closest I found to my faded stock blue

Parents checked maaco and I had to convince them that its not worth paying $1200 just for a paint job on a vehicle that will eventually get beat up

1200?! Around here I could have just the header panel sprayed to match the body for maybe 100-120 bucks. And that's a pro-job.

So my neutral safety switch was my issue, and it was full of water. There were no connections left inside to clean. So $300 later my jeep is running well again. How come my shifter is difficult to move ? Does my new NSS just need to get broken in or something?

How tight did you make the center nut with the locking tab? Maybe too tight?

Thats probably it. Is it hurting anything, or can it wait a few days? Its currently pouring here.
