I've found the easiest way is to use either a come along (high lift jack) or wratchet straps to pull it into place.

I had my spare up on the factory rails with two wratchet straps crisscrossing each other. You want to bring the rails close to each other also.

You want to find one with the infinity sound system if possible they are the ones with the connector your talking about.

The others have connectors just not the best ones. Travis told me you have to take the doors off to get the plugs.

How does this cv joint look? Ok or do I need a longer shaft?

If you're using a stock front DS back there most of them only have 3" of travel total

Okay, this weekend I decided to tackle my tcase leak. I took the two halves apart and resealed it. That part of fine. I had to destroy the rear output shaft seal to get it off, so i put a new one in. On my way to school it covered everything in ATF... So I put a new one in at my buddies place in his parking lot. I made it to school but it's leaking again, any ideas as to why these seals keep failing?

Question:

I want to clean my engine bay up in my 00. My neighbor warned me against power washing/steam washing the l6 bc after he did his it "never ran the same" What's your guys input on this? I want to spray it down with the orange gunk or simple green and then power wash it. Shoot at work we spray the detriots with a power washer all day and no issues. But this is no Detroit. Lol

Which seal blew? If you're not knicking them on install, the main output shaft seal will fail prematurely if your bearings are on their way out and allowing for too much lateral movement of the shaft itself.

Cover up your electricals. Your neighbor probably soaked his TPS and distributor lol. I'm not sure what specific precautions there are for the coil pack, but cover it anyway lol
