No intension to offend anyone. Should have read "more experience on this model Jeep than myself" Thanks for the help, I've welded the holes and have it ready to paint, but can't find the wheel flares to get the factory look I'm looking for, wider wouldn't be a bad thing either.

You'll want to twist the cap off in a counter clockwise motion.
I'd suggest tilting the bottle to 26 degrees while pouring the fluid into a funnel.
If you'd like more assistance please feel free to start a thread.
What size funnel? Does Autozone carry the one I need? Is this a professional tool? Do you have a link to it? A part number from autozone's website?Originally Posted by lowrange2
Yes, Lucas and Royal Purple are the two best fluids out there. You'll want to twist the cap off in a counter clockwise motion.

I suppose it depends on which flare you decide to run. (If I'm understanding what you're wanting to do correctly.) Originally Posted by Skrilla937

Most companies that manufacture fender flares accommodate the removal of the bumper end caps as an option... It'd cover up any holes.

Bushwhacker sells two different styles: pocket (cut out) flares, or flat flares.Originally Posted by Skrilla937

A lot of people use flares from a TJ Wrangler. They look pretty good. You can use fronts and rears, or you can put TJ rear flares at all four corners of your XJ.
No_rdplz is a good example of front and rear flares.
Dukie564 is a good example of four rear flares.

I was informed to hold the bottle at a 29* angle otherwise maximum flowing efficiency cannot be achieved. 26* is not going to cut it.
