I might be totally off with this one, but wouldn't the extra droop with a double-shackle setup be essentially useless anyway? You'd only be able to put so much force on two joints before it collapses. In other words, it wouldn't be able to take enough vehicle weight to create sufficient tracion, which I assume is why one would want a ton of droop. Seems a locker would be a MUCH better and safer use of funds. Don't some rocker crawlers basically have the axles bolted to the frame?

I agree lockers are better than flex, however both are still better than just a locker. I wont be able to do lockers for a year or so. I do however have a welder and access to lots of free steel. Any suspention setup at near full droop is gonna only have the load/weight of the axle/tire. low cod rigs droop is needed more compared to a taller rig, sometimes you just need the tires lugs to bite not necessarily a big load on the tire.

The best advice i can give you.. is get either drop brackets or long arms. At 8" of lift you are in dire need of one or the other. Otherwise you'll just keep going through bushing more than likely.
