To be honest, i ain't got a clue. I'll drain and replace the tcase fluid and trans fluid when my taxes get back. Just worries me that i don't know what it is...

I have not.
So the little star head bolt on the carrier, and then the bolt falls out. Push axles in and finally you can get to the c-clip to pop it off.
Man 3 days I've been trying to get this stuff off and apart. At least it will be easy when I do the swap. I wish somebody lived around here so it didn't take me so long to get anything done. Or at least some friends or family who knew how to work on cars. All I've learned I figured out on my own or with the help of this forum, after learning the basics in high school auto.
