Oiled filters in general are total crap. Just replace it with a proper one. As for the oil being bad for the manifolds, never heard of that before so no clue.

Real quick question guys...
HO engine and intake are going into a Renix controlled XJ... Do I use the Renix IAC in the HO throttle body or an HO IAC? OR.... do I meld the two and use the HO pintle on the Renix stepper motor? Are both IACs wired the exact same? The plug is exactly the same, but I don't want to short anything out if I just use the HO IAC.
Edit: For those that don't know, the Renix IAC pintle and HO IAC pintle are different sizes and thus the reason for my question above.
