Tried that, but it isn't allowed according to the set of guidelines that show up at the bottom of the edit signature page. I think you have to be a paid member or mod/admin to include a pic in your sig.

I may have the opportunity to swap my rattley transfercase with one from another XJ.
me: 1999, 4.0, AX-15, NP231, C8.25
donor: 1999, 4.0, AW4, not sure, also not sure
*Assuming* the potential donor is also an NP231 and a C8.25, would the transfer case be a direct swap? Do I need to consider the front driveshaft? I've read about the input splines and different lengths but it's not quite clear to me.
Thanks

Moog makes good products. From my experience. I was almost positive the brute force ones had fittings mine do but may have gotten them from pepboys.

Hello, there is a kid at my school selling 4- 30x9.5r15 hankook dynapro atm tires with 4,000 miles on them for $300. I don't know how he treated them but they look like they are in good shape. I have a 3" lift and I plan on getting some cragar soft 8's or another similar style wheel. Would I regret it if I didn't get 31's from treadwright for another $440? I rarely offroad, and when I do, its just on trails. Would my setup look okay with 30's? They measure exactly 29.5" according to some website.

Ok, I've searched around, and haven't found an answer.
My steering does not return to center when you let go of the wheel. Where you point it, is where its going to go when you let go of the wheel. I've remove dampner; no change. Replaced u-joints on axle; no change.
I'm thinking steering box to tight, or starting to fail. Change box? Any Ideas?
99 XJ, 6" lift. Rocky Road Drop Pitman & HD Steering. Did not add or change anything when this started happening. Thanks
