OEM shocks are fine as long as the jeep isn't lifted.

Grammar is so terribad lately... Do you have your jeep lifted? If not an SYE is rather pointless. Also I've never heard of it lowering your mpg.

If It did lower MPG it would be such a small amour you would never notice

No, an SYE isn't going to effect you mileage.

Are you aware of it's actual function?

Can I take wheel weights off the front of the wheel and put them on the back without ill effect? There's weights on front and back if that makes a difference.

Wheel weights? As in the weight used to balance the wheel/tire?

Edit: OH you mean take them off the front of the wheel and put them on the back of the same wheel.

I thought you meant pull the weight off the front wheels and put them on the rear wheels.

No, your wheels will no longer be balanced.

You can take them off, they just have to go back in the same place.

Darn.

Guess I'll paint them black too. Seperate. Put them back on after.

Isn't there a tool for getting those off? Or is it easy enough with a flat head or some pliers?

You'd most likely screw up the weight to which you can't put it back on. If you don't want to get the tool then ask an auto shop if they'll sell you some weights. Just use a hammer to pound them on.

They make a tool but pliers work just fine.

It costs like 12 bucks to have them all balanced again. If you want them on the inside pull all the wieghts off, paint them, drive it to the shop and have them re-balance them.
