Exactly what a torch does. Breaks the bond. Freezong breaks it, too.

It's not like liquid nitrogen. It's like a penetrating oil with a different propellent like canned air. The last time I used it was on the drain plug of 231 from under the salt rim of NY state. I heated up the case gently with a small torch then shot just the plug with a small amount. Broke free right then.

My 99 has little plugs in the valve cover bolt holes, does the new gasket come with new plugs?
