Worn out, but I've seen much worse. When/if you lift, buy full spring packs instead of Add A Leafs.

Which is why I'm just gonna do it myself. Any recommendations on T/case and tranny(AX-15) fluid? Gonna change both out.

I really wanna lift it with a 2in bb but I hear the extended shackles would worsen my leaves. How bad of an idea would it be to get a bb with my current set up? I don't see myself ever going for a lift any bigger than 3 inches tops. I highly doubt I'd be in the boat where guys buy the cheap solution now and spend more money on what they really want later.

It was originally torn up when someone tried stealing my driveshaft (I'm not joking). Took to AAMCO and they refused to replace the seal, insisting it was fine

For an AX-15 you can't beat Redline MT-90. Cheaper goo would be the Pennzoil Sychromesh. Get a gear lube in the 75w90 area that is SPECIFICALLY for transmissions with brass synchronizers - usually branded Synchromesh. Normal API GL-5 is the plops. My local NAPA actually had 4 bottles of MT-90 on the shelf when I walked in one day lol. Royal Purple also has a Synchromax product, but IIRC their 75w90 oil achieved a GL-5 rating without using the corrosive additives that eat synchros.
NP231 will take whatever... ATF+4, Dexron III/Mercon, 5w30, or Rockland Standard Gear has a special lube for it. You could probably use a gear oil of you wanted to, provided it doesn't eat the brass synchro and its light enough that the pump doesn't care. (Don't quote me on that though lol)

alright so I'm putting in a 99+ intake on my 98 and I noticed a few differences that I'm unsure of. First off the electrical connector for the injectors is in a different spot and it seems the wires aren't long enough to even reach. Second there are a bunch of nipples that hoses attach to and they're different on both intakes. Can anyone give me a hand as to where they need to be relocated?

i just replaced my oil pan gasket and rear main seal, after aboot 2 minutes of running there was a nice puddle and stream of oil where the rear main seal is located. So i turned of the jeep and wrapped up shop for tomorrow. tomorrow is here and when i went to turn it back on and try to lock in on the leak more than the puddle i didnt notice anything more than 2 simple drops and nothing after that...is this normal after a job like this?

I don't know about normal, but very lucky if it doesn't leak again.

They decided Dodge would sell trucks, and Jeep would sell SUVs. Obviously, things have changed since then.

Only 7,000+- Comanches made in 92. Chrysler engineers thought the Dakota was so much better cuz it was theirs. We know that's not true. Said they were gonna discontinue Jeep's engines starting with the 4.0, too. I had to chuckle when that idea was scrapped and the Dakota got the Jeep 2.5!!
