Go to the right section (wheeling neighborhoods) and ask.

Alright so I just ordered my RC 3 inch kit with rear springs and new lower control arms. Also got my 31s and some wheels. My question is, do I have to get anything else that is not included in the kit?

It's a daily driver, not major offroading, other than having fun in the mud once in a while.

From what I understand SYE is not needed at 3-3.5 inch, what about a t-case drop? What do sway bar disconnects do exactly and would I need that? Would it be better if I get a steering stabilizer? What about brake lines? Is there anything else I'm forgetting?

I wanna be sure to do it right the first time.

I can make a U-turn in a smaller radius than a Civic. You couldn't take that away from me ever.

lol I wasnt talkin up anything its a cheap axle and theyre a dime a dozen. Who knows maybe he wants to do it. haha he wanted opinions.

PB blaster and anti-sieze, for one. You should get a new stabilizer with the larger tires, don't bother with a double, single will be fine. I did my 3" lift and got vibes from my t-case, I recommend SYE, drop kit would just be a bandaid. Rent some spring compressors and leave all your steering linkages alone, just remove your sway bar. Expect your shock bolts to break so have a drill and extractor handy. Unless you're rock crawling you don't need sway bar disconnects. Don't need new brake lines either. If you're doing the lift at home, leave 2 tires on the ground. Good luck.

If you have a 97+ it's hit or miss if you'll need the transfer case drop kit. If you do its no big deal they are cheap and fairly easy to install. My 00 needed it and my buddies 99 didn't need it. And I installed the same kit that you've got. You shouldn't need a new steering stabilizer, and you don't need to relocate or get an adjustable track bar. As long as your Ok with it being shifted alittle bit. You might want brake lines if your going offroad but it's not something that absolutely needs to be done.

I have a 2001 Cherokee limited with 16" wheels. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if 31x10.50 15's will fitt without rubbing? The most off-roading I will be doing is on the beach. I don't plan on doing any flexing or anything. Any help?
